Deliveries

 
Our standard delivery period for stock items is usually within 5 to 7 working days. For the avoidance of doubt, working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holiday days. Delivery times will also be extended during Christmas and New Year due to the factory shutdown.

We will confirm after ordering the approximate delivery times. If there is any delay or we cannot fulfil your request we will call you to discuss any options, exceptions may apply.

On delivery inspection
All goods must be inspected for external damage, colour, specification and shortfall on delivery in the presence of the delivery driver. Any issues must be clearly written on the delivery note. If the packaging is clearly damaged, please photograph it. Please inform us immediately of any issues upon delivery. No claims for shortage can be made after this.

Inspection protocol within 24 hours of delivery

Please check the goods inside the packaging within 24 hours of delivery. You should inspect for damage and shade differences. You must notify us immediately if you find an issue, so we can report it within the timescales dictated by our supplier.
 
IMPORTANT
Our delivery service is made to the 'kerb side' due to insurance guidelines so please arrange for adequate help to off load.
All delivery services are by lorry or van so it is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible.
If your order arrives as arranged but we are unable to deliver because you are not home, or there is inadequate help available, you will be liable for any additional costs incurred for redelivery. 


RETURN POLICY

To cancel or advise us of a return, please confirm your request by email to info@worktop-shop.co.uk, within 7 calendar days of delivery. 


You will be responsible for the transportation of the goods back to us or to a destination of our choosing. The goods must be insured by you for the full value whilst in transit. Customer returns must be agreed upon in writing or by email by both parties before the goods are returned. Refunds will be processed within 14 calendar days of us receiving the goods back, providing the goods are returned to us in a re-sellable condition. Goods returned which are not faulty and are simply unwanted will incur a 30% restocking charge.


We will exchange or repair items if they are faulty or defective on delivery to you provided that you notify us by telephone and email within 48 hours of delivery. Manufacturer faults arising after installation will be subject to a full inspection and a complaints procedure as set out by the Manufacturer.


We, nor our suppliers, will be liable for defects arising from fair wear and tear, incorrect use, accidental damage, failure to comply with the manufacturer's installation and aftercare instructions, excessive handling, or negligence by you or your installer. All products are to be returned in their original packaging.



Worktops are all special order. We advise that you check carefully that you order the correct worktops for your project. In the event you need to return a worktop due to over ordering there is a 30% re-stocking fee on all worktops returned to the depot the worktops are despatched from.
